Levi J. Kool - Of Counsel

- Levi J. Kool is an experienced real estate and municipal attorney whose practice focuses on representing property owners and developers in property tax appeals, land use matters, and complex valuation disputes throughout New Jersey. He advises clients across a broad range of asset classes, including residential, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties, providing strategic guidance to reduce tax burdens and maximize asset value. He regularly appears before County Boards of Taxation and the Tax Court of New Jersey, handling matters involving Chapter 123 ratio analysis, added and omitted assessments, exemptions, and Freeze Act applications.
In addition to his private sector practice, Mr. Kool serves as counsel to municipalities and local boards, advising on governance, land use, redevelopment, and compliance with statutes including the MLUL, OPMA, and OPRA. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable John Langan, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, and is known for his thorough analysis, effective advocacy, and practical problem solving.
